Hi everyone! Lots of luck to all this month!

We submitted our documents last week - DHL confirmed that they arrived on Friday morning (6/29)

I checked my CEAC status for the first time today, and it says "Case at NVC". If I remember correctly I've seen people in past threads take that as an indication of a CC, but obviously that can't be right in this case.

I'll call tomorrow to check that the documents were received, but am I just remembering incorrectly about the case status thing?

how many days to get cc ?

I'm not sure yet - no way that it's CC yet, but I'll report back as we progress!

Yes - mine says "Case at NVC"

Is that normal for this stage? What will it say when it's CC?

Then it might be CC but seems not to be possible... mine at this site says “submit required docs”

That’s what I thought also but there is a slot in the check list for petitioners civil documents... weird?

The petitioners civil documents I understand will be needed.  Granted not everyone will have these. The documents may include petitioners divorce decrees and name change orders if petitioner bears different names on previous and present documents. I was confused when I got to that stage too.

That seems crazy!

Mine has "Case at NVC" with this paragraph below "Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask."

Does yours also have that paragraph?

I'm trying not to be too hopeful, because I realize this is so unlikely.

I will give them a call tomorrow for sure and see what's going on.

This was what my status said when my case completed. It changed from submit required docs to this so it may be case complete for you. They may have just decided to work on it as soon as they received your documents. Call on Monday to verify. Looks like a good news to me.

Mine goes some thing like this :

Next steps:
Gather the documents below and send them to us in one (1) envelope or email. Instructions on how to send us your documents are online at https://nvc.state.gov/submit. Do not send these documents separately or it will delay your case processing time.
If you recently submitted documents, we may still be reviewing your files. Please check back later.
  1. Step 1: Your Petitioner selects and complete Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support). (See detailed instructions)
  2. Step 2: Your Petitioner collects photocopies of financial documents showing income level like their federal U.S. tax return, W-2 form).
And so on...

ill also call tomorow... when was your mail delivered. Ours was del. at 11 am on 29

Ours was roughly about the same time - maybe just slightly earlier if I remember correctly, I don't have the tracking info on me right now.

We will see what they have to say tomorrow. Hoping for a speedy CC for us both!

I really hope that's the case! I was settled in for a long wait. I'll try not to get my hopes up too much!

This process has been a lesson in patience for sure! (Something I don't have a whole lot of!)
