Thnks after that damn as waiting the rest of the process is it faster for non pivot cases?

Once you receive your case number it is at least nicer because you will receive more often new informations. You feel less lost. The speed depend on you. You have to be proactive by calling and collecting your documents. Once you are done with that every will depend on your country. You can look at the timeline of people from your place to give yourself an estimation.

For the pivot/non pivot speed it doesn't matter. It's not like you make the choice.

To be on a safer side by avoiding a checklist I think you should add it because we are doing same.

Damn it abies since I am non pivot and the nvc received my file in june 14 2018 when should I expect to get case number?

Presently pivot cases are faster.

Its taking 9-10weeks for non pivot cases to get their welcome letters now.

You should start calling NVC on your 7th week.

Call them to add your email to your attorney's own because they usually send mails to 2 different email addresses.

Ours was on our approved i130 petition but I still called to confirm.

Too much is better than not enough. But I read again the NAO1 and the NAO2. In the first it's written Petition of Alien relative and in the second Petition of husband or spouse of US citizen. This means that we proved already the US status at USCIS stage. On NVC website it's said the proof of status is for the cosponsor or joint sponsor. He/she have to be a US citizen or a permanent resident.

Now my idea is to add the US passport copy with the stamps of the trip we made after sending our petition to USCIS. And to add new pictures. We will put it in the list of "Other supporting document ".
