Guys, CEAC being down is getting seriously alarming. How can a government run website that affects hundreds of thousands be down for 10 days and beyond? On top of that, they do not have a date by which the website will go up. It means they can shut it down indefinitely. Don't you think that we need to get this addressed? May be start a petition? Talk to congressman or something?

Hello everyone, please i have a question so can i add the affidavit sworn by father, father inlaw and some of my witness to my wedding to my supporting documents for my interview???

We did add the certified copies of them to our iv package(other supporting documents).

I'm also taking the original copies with me to my interview.

I think you should go with them too,it's better to be safe than sorry.

I thought NILC or ACLU would be useful but I think, since we are not yet technically immigrants because we have not applied, they can not legally help. Also, the government makes and enforces the laws. Essentially, without public outcry, they can and will continue to break their own laws without repercussion. Just look at our president! Your ideas of flooding congressmen with complaints seems like the only way to force them to act! Calling NVC will not help because they say they don't own the website. It belongs to the group of consulates. The reps seem pissed too when I call.

Thank you , I have one question , for police and birth  certificat in morocco  is valid only for 3 months , but in the travel  state  said it should be  less than one year ,  I have one less than year but more than 3 month , is ok to submit it and  bring a new one the day of interview,  because I can’t get or  order new one online now .

You should and can submit the same document that was provided during NVC as interview.. in Morocco they have a 3 month duration but you are providing to US officials. So as long as it is within the same calendar year you’ll be fine..

morocco just recently became a pivot country,  but if you’ve already submitted your documents by mail you will continue this way. The electronic processing is only being used for new cases moving forward

Very true. It's unfair.
