Pivot cases are completely processed via email. AOS/IV packageS will be scanned to nvc via email instead of the previous snail mail like some of us did.

 

And there will be no visa package anymore just your passport with your visa printed inside will be ready for pick up.

It means that the staff at the NVC can still enter the information from our approved I-130 petitions onto their systems in order to create case numbers.

 

The CEAC website is still down but it will not slow down or affect anyone waiting for a case number.

Pivot cases don't always have that Brown envelope that's comes with your visa&passport. 

 

It's now only your passport&visa printed inside.

 

Moreso,all your documents will be sent to NVC via the email provided on your welcome letter.

 

Contact @O&O,she also just got her case number and she's a fellow Nigerian too.

My welcome letter stated: Do not mail documents to NVC even if you received instructions to mail documents to NVC in the past.

Log on to ceac to pay fee, upload n submit documents, read messages from NVC and check your case status.

You are not losing anytime by waiting for a case number at this point. Since CEAC hasbeen down for more than a week now, people with case numbers can not proceed with their cases anyway, pivot or not. At least there's that.

Hey start paying fees and gathering all of the documents since I have attorney I will do both fees at the same time but for non pivot how it takes to get case complete soon you do everything?

Immediately the site comes up,you will be able to pay both fees at the same time since Nigeria has been switched to pivot.

Yes we are and I think they on purpose but does that affect non pivot cases because I though we were doing everything snail mail not online?
