Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking! You've been really helpful! Thanks!

By any chance, do you know where I can find the number to call them up?

Yes, from the UK 001-603-334-0700 and press option #1 (for English) then option #5 as your case is PIVOT.

Here is my story: I got my I-130 approved on March 31st and the NVC received my case on April 12th. This is for my dad by the way.

So then I was traveling and on the week 10th of waiting I called NVC and they told me that you are calling too early since we just received your case on June 20th or something around that date. I said "wait a minute" - and the operator said almost immediately - "wait a minute". So he told me that my case was transferred to a new systems and they made a mistake with my receipt date. Now the case was transferred to a supervisor and I hope that I get my case number and invoice number soon. It's been 13 weeks already, 10 weeks of waste of time and 3 weeks with a supervisor.

Last time I called a nice lady told me that my case in quality control, whatever it means, but I still don't have the number.

Is any one else is in a similar situation?

Hi! I also had this situation about 2 months ago. (Also for Moscow Embassy). Before, Moscow was not pivot, and now they are transferring Moscow to be a pivot embassy. The situation is that the NVC sent Moscow cases to the non-pivot section first, and the second received date is for the Pivot section. They also sent my case to the supervisor and I got my case number almost 2 weeks after.

Hi, so now, after my case was approved, they told me it's going to go a lot faster because all the documents are processed digitally! Ironically, right after I paid all the fees, the CEAC website went down last week. Overall the NVC stage of entering the case took me 13 weeks, now I don't even know when the website is going to be back on, since the NVC has absolutely no information on that except that one operator told me it's an unplanned maintenance break which means something unexpected happened and it maybe a while before the website goes back on. I am guessing you should be in the similar situation.

Yes, I uploaded my documents on June 17. It is true that they check your documents rather fast. It took them 10 days to check my documents after I uploaded them the first time, then they send you some notification if they want more information or something else, and again like 2 weeks to check them if so. They already sent me the notification on June 17 that I am waiting for an interview date, but there´s no exact timeframe of when will they assign it. Most people get the interview date a month after they receive the Case Complete email, and the date is for at least a month to a month and a half after that. The last person who got interview date for Moscow Embassy that I know completed their case in the middle of June, got interview date email in the middle of this month July and the interview will be by the end of August. I am expecting to have then my interview by the end of September, but with the system being down, I don´t know if all the other processes are also kind of stopped. We will see.... Hopefully, it will be solved soon!

This is great! I hope the website issues won't affect your case!

Regarding the submission of your documents - if you had any of them in Russian language only did you have to translate those? I saw somewhere on this forum that the Moscow consulate requires translations of all of the documents, but the instructions state that the documents must be either in English or the local language.

Thanks in advance!
