I wouldn’t be surprised if trump was behind this

It is certainly one way to keep immigration statistics from increasing. I read there are 50,000 immigrants per day using CEAC for processing. These last 6 days of no CEAC have therefore had a huge impact on the stats!

That is good to know. That suggests that once a CC is received, CEAC is no longer necessary for the case to proceed!

Yea.. I believe for those of us that submitted our ds260 before when the CEAC site when down on 7/19 because if NVC wasnt able to access our completed ds260,those of us getting CC since after 7/19 would have been in limbo.

This definitely seems like it was planned. Like they shut it down on purpose! But how long can they keep this up!

I completed my DS260 at 5am on July 19. The reps say they can not access my DS260 while CEAC is down. I have called daily to check.

Does it mean your documents are yet to be scanned?

No. Docs received and scanned on July 16. We gad 9 weeks to prepare them while waiting for a case number. So we sent them while NVC was in process of opening our DS260. As you know, they take about a week to clear both fees.

Just called NVC and they told me that if documents are ready we can send them in. They will scan them into the system but won't review them until DS260 is completed. I'm going to send the documents today and hopefully by the time they scan it, the site is back up.

Is there anyone who got cc after ceac website disruption? Specially non pivot. If not that means our cc gonna effected by distuption.

I got mine 7/20.

The distruption doesn't affect those who submitted their ds260 before 7/19(when the CEAC site went down).
