Today is the 6th day the site has been down. No new applications can be started, no fees can be paid, and the reps can not access any information entered at CEAC previously. When I call to ask about this problem, I am told "hopefully we will get some tech support soon". Sure.

I can’t believe it’s been gone for sooo long! Makes me mad

I got my case number yesterday and it happens to be a pivot case, so i can't pay the fees because CESAC is down. Does anyone know if we can pay any other way? Or is it best to wait?

Wow, did it really take nearly 3 months for you to get your case number?

Yup..most I'm sure something went wrong because they kept giving us the wrong nvc receive date. So they had to push it to the supervisor

Including us that already have CC?

I guess it depends on whether or not they need to access anything in CEAC to schedule your interview. You could call and ask them if your interview will be delayed because of this.

Last night I asked what timeframe they quote for scheduling the interview. They said they do not have a time frame for that. They have timelines for other procedures: 3 weeks for document review, 1 week for processing a fee, 8 weeks for case number assignment, etc.

That's frustrating!

You would think as your case is pivot it would have been much sooner, lets hope CEAC is up and running shortly.

Yea.. I called and was told that we are in queue for an interview date.

And that as soon as Lagos embassy sends them their available slots for Sept,we will be scheduled for an interview.

I wouldn’t be surprised if trump was behind this

That is good to know. That suggests that once a CC is received, CEAC is no longer necessary for the case to proceed!

Abies, do you think you will have an interview date for September?
