So are people getting their interview dates within a few days of receiving their Case Complete emails?  Or within a few days of the completion date?

Has anyone called about the ceac site still being down?? Anyone have any info? Also, I just got my id number and case number on Friday, but no welcome email.....I was just gonna go on and fill myself....when should I receive my welcome email??

We also did not get a welcome letter, only an email that has the case id number and invoice number.

As long as you are able to log in successfully and access your case, then you're good.
No idea about the website still being down though.

It all depends on the country.

I received our welcome letter six days after getting the case number and invoice number on the phone

I just called, the rep told that my  "Case In Line For An Interview"

no email received it yet

I will call NVC later to know if our case is already in queue for an interview date too.

Hello all,

I got an email today with my Case number and IIN. It took almost 9 weeks to get the case number assigned. I have couple of questions for those who know the answers:

1. Despite me mentioning my spouse's embassy as Delhi, my case got assigned to  Mumbai. Is it normal? Did they choose Mumbai because Delhi was overloaded?

2. Is Mumbai Pivot embassy? If yes, what is the advantages/disadvantages of getting assigned to PIVOT embassy?

India is not Pivot country.

So my wife's passport has already expired, should i put her currently expired passport no. on the ds-260 or should i wait til she gets her new passport?

India is non pivot country

All cr1 interview will be in mumbai Specially north india

Wait until she gets the new one before you proceed with the ds260
