Congratulations! And CEAC has been down since Thursday night. Nobody knows when they’ll be back and it’s my first time experiencing this as I just got my case number last Monday. Keep an eye out for when they’ll get back x

You can try call NVC and ask them. My embassy is in Khartoum, Sudan. I called NVC before getting my case number and they told me mine is pivot.

Yes. I’ve been told off by many haha sorry if I’ve given wrong Information. 

Whats important for us all with a case number but not case completed is for CEAC to be back working so we can move on

They need to unplug CEAC from outlet and let it sit idle for 10 seconds; plug it back in again and it should be all good to go.

12/18/2017 (Monday) PRIORITY DATE

12/20/2017 (Wednesday) Received text and email that my case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS Texas Service Center for processing

12/21/2017 (Thursday) Check was cashed. NOA-1 (I-797C) was sent to me by USCIS via USPS.

12/26/2017 (Tuesday) NOA-1 (I-797C) was received.

06/07/2018 (Thursday) NOA-2 was APPROVED. 172 days.

06/11/2018 (Monday) NOA-2 was delivered by USPS to my home address.

06/22/2018 (Friday) Our case was sent to the U.S. Department of State (DOS) for visa processing (NVC)

08/14/2018 CASE COMPLETED (DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED)

NVC received my approved petition on June 27. From a previous call, I knew I’d be submitting my documents electronically via CEAC (I dial option 5 when I call NVC). I’m a couple days away from the 4 week mark, so I thought I’d see if my NVC case number and invoice number were ready yet. The agent was very helpful and told me that my case is in a middle step. All of the information from my petition has been uploaded into their system. It’s in process of someone else checking the information to make sure it’s correct. Once that is done I should get my case number. He said there’s no firm timeline but it could take 2-3 weeks. I’ll update when I have a case number. Bummer to hear that CEAC is down from everyone.
