One major item of concern to granting your visa is the ability to show financial support. Keep in mind that you can get all the way to the end of the interview and be told you need a new sponsor, hence your visa is denied. If I were you, I would use as many qualified sponsors as you need to in order to show you have proper financial support. They can and will hold you back for lack of financial support. You can read stories telling of this here at visa journey.

So its better to have more than one sponsor? I have someone that offered to be a joint sponsor. I just don't know if i should include my parents as household members or not. After filing the I-130 i came to live in singapore with my husband so thats why I'm not sure if i can add my parents as household members since i am physically not there.

Please go to the Affidavit of Support instructions and read the household member rules. I am not an immigration attorney and hence can not advise you exactly of specifics.  What I am telling you is not to give the consular officer a reason for concern. NVC is there only to check for document completeness, not correctness and not to judge the contents within. There are immigration attorneys at this site available to help you. It is better to be safe than sorry after this horribly stressful process. Best wishes for a speedy entrance!

It means the 2documents(birth cert and israeli police cert)are both missing from your package and they both needs to be submitted for review

Hi guys, I'm new here. Really need some help with the I-864 affidavit of support. Can both household members income and joint sponsor be submitted? I am living overseas with my husband but my US home address is still with my parents. So I'm not sure if i am still included in the household and can use my parents income and assets. I am unemployed and my parents income doesn't quite meet the poverty guidelines but with assets it will be met. So I don't know if i should just do my I-864 without household members and have a joint sponsor or include household members and no joint sponsor.

My understanding is you filed for your husband and your income is not enough to qualify . You want to use your parents assets As qualification.

two people need to file i864 you and your parents . Household size in your i864 is just u and husband assuming u guys have no kids .

in joint sponser i864 which ur dad will file , will have household size of the people that are on his tax return plus ur husband . Only dependents  need to go on household size .
