I think this is normal. They don't need to mail documents to the consulate since our filing was electronic so it won't take time for our information to reach that office, as it would if it were being physically mailed or sent via diplomatic courier. My impression is that this is what happened last month too based on what I saw in timelines from people who were assigned interviews in July. I don't think we need to worry about this. I think we should all sit tight and expect interviews to be scheduled in the next week or so. 🙂

That is, I think they will assign IR-1/CR-1 interviews in the next week or so based on what I have read here. I have no idea about other visa categories though. Good luck!

My interview was few hours ago and I was approved. The questions asked were:

Who’s calling you?

Where and when I met my husband?

How long we’ve been married for?

Have either of us been married before?

Do we have any children?

Where does my husband live in the US?

What type of visa did my husband enter the US with?

And she viewed our wedding album.

I’m so glad this journey is over.Thank you all for the information and support...Wish everyone best of luck 😍😘❤️

Congratulations

Wait is this true? I've been using that DHL trick to check to see if any docs have been sent to sweden (im swedish) but nothing, i filed with CEAC, so there's no 'in transit' for us just being sent electronically? If so that is a little relief because im really hoping for an interview date this week.

That was my assumption but maybe I'm wrong thinking that absolutely no files need to be sent by physical mail if we're pivot. I'm sure you can just call NVC and ask though. I am also basing it on what I have seen in timelines from people from my country (someone who was assigned the interview in July said that the consulate received their case a week after the interview was scheduled). I really think we don't need to worry about this. Good luck!

One week after the approval, we are still waiting for the passport to come back. CEAC site is stuck on READY state.

Can't explain in words how frustrating this is. The counselor told me wife that she should have her passport back in 3 to 4 days.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to the 2018 Waiting Games.

I went to Jakarta consulate for the Interview, and it  was a very pleasant experience.

The officers were very friendly but also efficient. Went in at 12.30 pm and left the embassy around 2 pm.
The interview itself only took about 5 minutes.  The questions are:

Where and when I met my husband?
What does my hubby do in Indonesia?
Where are we planning on staying once we're there?

And then the CO showed a white paper and said we've been approved, and he looked so happy.
I did the javascript:emoticon('kicking.gif') happy dance all the way to the train station.

we are close in CC date mine is 04/17/2018. I guess maybe one more month for an appointment if all goes well. They might be slowing down appt dates due to high crime rates in the area. Hope we get our date soon

CDJ is one of the busiest embassies, so maybe they have a lot more people applying at this time. We are almost there :) One or two more months to get the great news hopefully :)!! will keep you posted if we get any news.
