Hi Everyone,

I am new here but wanted to know if anyone had any information on appointments for Ciudad Juarez. My CC date was 4/18/18. I have try multiple times to call the NVC but all they say is that I am on the waiting list and that they cannot provide any additional information. This is so stressful ;/

we are close in CC date mine is 04/17/2018. I guess maybe one more month for an appointment if all goes well. They might be slowing down appt dates due to high crime rates in the area. Hope we get our date soon

Unfortunately from what I've seen, things have slowed at CDJ in the last 2 months. Our CC was March 23 and we just got a date for Sept 12.

Thsnk you. Congratulations. It is almost a 6 month wait now from CC to interview at CDJ. Happy to be in line, sad for the wait.

it feels like eternity

Gracias a Dios you are next in line Yesenia. Keep strong for your family. Your wait is almost over.

It feels like an eternity to us too: 5 months at USCIS for approval, 3 months at NVC for the CC, and now looking aheas another 6 or more months just to get the interview.

Same thing an agent told us when we called for our interview date that they don't know if we will get a Sept date becuase she didn't know the number of people before us and then 2days later,we got our interview date over the phone.

Keep calling,don't get discouraged.

I called again on monday and she told me the interview has been already scheduled for September.

Any ideas as to how long for email confirmation of interview? I don’t want to purchase my flight until I get the email confirmation

Even with email confirmation I still wouldn’t purchase a flight, unless purchased with refund/cancel/date change option. You never know if they request more documents at the interview.
