CEAC site been down doesn't affect interview schedule. If your embassy sends out their available slots to NVC,nvc will schedule your interview dates for your consulate.

Create an account, then log into it, then go to New Application / Schedule Appointment, and in the form that appears choose "IV passport delivery registration(applicants scheduled for interview by NVC\KCC)"

Like this:

Then enter your visa type and personal details, and choose where & how you want the passport to be delivered. The options are (a) you pick up the passport in the office of TMM courier service, or (b) their courier delivers the passport to your address of choice.

Oh thank you so much! You were so helpful! I've just done everything!😃 And what about the visa or consular fees? Do we have to pay any before the interview? I contacted a call center today...Two different guys told me the different information😅 Thank you again!

Abies, is this fee the same for everybody? I mean for every country pivot and non pivot cases? You should pay 220$ after the interview?

Here is the list of all fees for K visas: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/nonimmigrant-visa-for-a-spouse-k-3.html#10

Quote

Fees are charged for the following services:

  • Filing a Petition for Alien Relative, Form I-130
  • Filing an Alien Fiancé(e) Petition, Form I-129F
  • Nonimmigrant visa application processing fee, Form DS-160 (required for each K visa applicant)
  • Medical examination (required for each K visa applicant; costs vary from post to post)
  • Other costs may include translation and photocopying charges, fees for getting the documents required for the visa application (such as passport, police certificates, birth certificates, etc.), and travel expenses to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate for an interview. Costs vary from country to country and case to case.
  • Filing Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

I presume you have already paid for the first three items, as you already completed the NVC stage and are waiting for the interview.

Medical exam should be paid for at the clinic that conducts it; be aware that IOM centers in Ukraine accept only UAH cash. This also must be done before the interview. Form I-485 is paid for after your spouse enters the US, not at the consulate. Looks like you are all set.

The GC fee is required for immigrant visas; K-3 is non-immigrant and your spouse will not receive green card upon arrival. Instead, you will file (and pay for) the Adjustment of Status form I-485 that costs $1,225. I presume this fee covers the issuance of GC as well.

I have already been at the medical. So that means only I-485 form left after the interview. Sounds good. Thanks a lot and good luck to you in this process!🙏
