Congrats to those of you who have already got their interview dates😊

Anyone here going for an interview at us consulate Montreal Canada?

There are about 7 or 8 Canadians on this forum including me got emails for interview date on the first week of July. CC dates for some were at the end of May and my cc date was in mid June. All the interviews are in August. I think everybody is busy preparing for the interview and that's why everybody is so quiet. Next week is the first week of the month. I hope it will be your turn to get an interview date!

Hello VJers!

We had our interview on July 24th at Auckland, NZ. The petitioner (my wife) flew in to attend the interview and spend a couple of weeks here with me before I move. We arrived at the interview on time but we had forgotten to print out the interview letter! (But had all of our other documentation.) They let us in despite not having the letter, but we'd highly recommend printing it out and taking it with you.

We had to wait for about two hours. But when we were called up to the window, it was just two minutes until we had an approval!

Two days after the interview, the documents and passport/visa were couriered back to us. And we have a flight booked for August 4th!

Good luck to those that are waiting or have their interviews coming up! :)

Congratulations..:):jest:

I called up NVC on Friday July 27th and the case has been completed, generally how long does it take for an interview to be scheduled in Mumbai (India) consulate, and what is the next step that i should prepare for ?

Thank-you everyone for all the help. This forum has been a big help for me.

NVC schedules Interview atleast a month before the actual interview date. You are more likely to get the interview date on September. After your case complete either you will get a case complete email or direct an Interview letter through email.Next step is to be prepared for the interview..Wait for the interview letter then follow the instructions on the interview letter.you have to book for medical test and biometrics prior to the interview date. And ask your petitioner to send you the photocopies or the scanned version of his documents what he sent to the Nvc.You will need that at the time of your interview.

Hey,

I had "AT NVC" too and had a checklist and not a CC. Not saying this is the case for you, but be aware that "AT NVC" does not always mean CC, it just means they have taken some action on your case.

I'm sure you are good, I just wanted to chime in with my experience. Call and confirm.

Spoke to Nvc and my case completed and in line for interview. Thanks everyone.

And where do you register your delivery address? I still don't know how to do it...

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ua/index.html?firstTime=No

Create an account, then log into it, then go to New Application / Schedule Appointment, and in the form that appears choose "IV passport delivery registration(applicants scheduled for interview by NVC\KCC)"

Like this:

Then enter your visa type and personal details, and choose where & how you want the passport to be delivered. The options are (a) you pick up the passport in the office of TMM courier service, or (b) their courier delivers the passport to your address of choice.
