Wait for your interview letter before you can go for interview. It's a walk- in appointment and it won't cost more than 100k depending on the vaccines you have had before and other medical conditions.

thank you for your prompt response

Have you tried reading the official Department of State website? They have all the answers to your questions and more.

1. "What's next after DS-260" – https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/interview.html

2. "How much to pay for medical and what's needed" – https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/LGS-Lagos.pdf

Srsly, there's plenty of info on every step of the process. Highly recommend.

What evidence, other than the required NVC docs, are you guys taking to the interview?

  • Photos
  • Past trip confirmations, hotel reservations, etc?
  • Chat history?
  • ...
  • What else?

I didn't send my wife money. She was here twice and I was there once in the past 10 months, so we didn't need to send any money back and forth.
