Visiting my son

Hello friends.

I'm here seeking help about What kind of visa I will need to apply for, in order to visit my son , I've lived in Peurto Rico for less than a year , I entered the US by a k1 visa the 7 October 2016 , I get married there I applied for permanent residence I get my work permit , but u didn't finish the process and I left the US the 1 August 2017 , me and my ex-wife are separated and in divorce process , but she give birth to my son months ago and I want to visit my son , and my inquiry now what should I do and what type of visa which documents I have to provide.

Not much choice here really. 

B2 tourist visa.

B2 as mentioned above.  Although you may have a bit more difficult time getting approved due to prior immigration intent, a (still legal) USC wife in the picture and now a USC-born child.

 

You will need strong evidence of compelling reasons to return to Morocco to overcome the strong ties to the US.

I would assume OP doesn't have any status if he abandoned the AOS by leaving the country.

OP's use of past/present tense is confusing.. if he is still in puerto rico, or lived there in the past and has exited the US?

English clearly second language, I’ve known people using similar terminology- “I’ve lived” to mean “I lived” (past tense). I’m pretty sure he’s left already.

 

(i think English grammar is one of the circles of hell to anyone learning the language...)

Isnt Puerto Rico part of the US? Why would he need a B2.  Am I missing something?

OP abandoned the AOS process before it was completed, so he doesn't have a valid green card or advanced parole. So he will need to apply for a B2 visa in Morocco (or wherever he is currently living) in order to visit a US territory.
