Are you planning on delaying the interview or something for some reason? Just asking, because normally once people have their NVC case #, one is desperate to fill in the DS-160 as soon as possible to get the beneficiary over to the US. The NOA-2 has a validity of 4 months I believe from the time it is issued. Correct me please if i got the last part wrong

3/23/2018                  Consulate ready

4/11/2018                  Medical

10/21/2018                Card was mailed to me, and yes it said so on a Sunday night, while Vj-ing

10/22/2018                Card was picked up by the USPS

10/24/2018                EAD in hand. F%^&& finally

12/28/2018                Interview has been scheduled. Waiting for notification with date by snail mail

It’s not that I want to or she wants to delay it it’s just that she’s a police officer soooo she’s on a yearly training thing for 2 weeks so next week she will be back that’s all lol 😂

oh ok, like i said...from the time the NOA-2 is issued to the actual date of expiration is 4 months. In this time you get the NVC process, medical and interview done. In most of these steps can be delayed a little up to 1 year if i remember correctly

@Dustin117 i forgot that if you fill out the payment to schedule the interview...you do have only 3 days to make the payment after that receipt is printed

I just got a email saying that it has arrived at the embassy down there do I have to pay now? Lol

no need to pay this moment...the noa-2 is good for 4 month. Once you print out the DS-160 and receipt for payment....then yes, the receipt for payment for the interview needs to be done in 3 days max. that is just the receipt for the interview. Again, only the receipt of payment for the interview needs to be printed and be paid for in the 3 days. If no interview is setup still, then no need to rush and print it

So I have the time and if she filled out the form and everything how long would she have to schedule the interview

there are no set time to do any of these things. all around it is up to 4 months for the validity of NOA-2. You can work as fast or slow as you like. If the next 2 weeks are not good, leave it there and then pick up in 2 weeks again.
