nvc provided case number and invoice id

called nvc and was provided with the case number and invoice ID, but was told not to pay fees until I receive email from them. Is this correct? Should I go ahead and pay the fees or wait for email?

Normally the email consists of invoice and case number is called Welcome letter.You can wait to receive the welcome letter and then proceed.But some other people also pay before receiving the welcome letter..You can wait.Within 2-3days you will receive the letter.

Same with me.. I got both the case/invoice numbers on Friday but couldn't proceed and when I called back,they told me to also wait for the welcome letter.

 

Hopefully we will get it by monday

What is really the point of calling for the number if you still have to wait for the letter?
