Russel1995, minus any traditions, the process and timeline involved is not so bad. As long as you are organized and have preplanned certain steps, everything can be done in as little as 1-2 weeks. With a little "gift" to the Civil Registry staff, it can move along much faster. As long as your paperwork is in order (Passport, Birth Certificate Apostilled with Certified Transaltion, Divorce papers, etc), the other things can be managed quickly.

 

- blood test if managed in the morning, will get you the results back early afternoon.

- marriage counseling (4-5 hour session) to be attended at DIF is required, but can be scheduled by phone for a date when you expect to be in the city.

Of course, it all depends on what kind of job she wants. Not speaking English definitely limits your options, especially if you want a better paying job. But if she learns English, being bilingual might be an advantage (especially if she wants to work in customer service, such as at a call center). But if she's not picky, she can get by just speaking Spanish and having some basic English skills.  

I speak Spanish and have counted Spanish speakers among my close friends.  Some who gave lived here 20  years without learning English.  I would never ever tell someone it’s not important to learn English.  It’s a terrible disadvantage.

Anyone know the issues that will arrise if my fiance can not obtsin her immunization records?

or will she be able to get everything she needs during her medical exam?

If she can't access her immunization records, the panel doctor will administer whatever she needs during the medical.

will she havhave to pay a biometrics fee and imgirant fee for her and her son?  trying to figure the costs out.. i know the 535 pteition, 190×2 for applications around 200 for med exams im guessing

Do the letters HAVE to state "within 90 days"?

bith of our letter state "on terms of a k1 visa".  anyone kniw if id grt denied or a rfe if this isnt stated directly??

She must obtain her immunization records. Otherwise, she would have to pay for immunization and, most importantly, this may effect her health. I will not go into details but any vaccine may pose a health risk, especially if more than one vaccine will be administrated within a short period of time.

If you haven’t already submitted it I would write in within 90 days. I doubt it would get denied/ref but if you haven’t submitted it yet I would suggest to change it.

 

 

also- there are many free apps she can use to learn English and you Spanish. Duolingo is a good one -it will be easier for her being here with a better English foundation 🙂

haha yes.  im already fluent in spnaish people just need to talk slow to me when speaking it or else i wont hear all the words.  but ill check into duolingo and let her know.  thanks 😁

any idea where she will have her interview when the time comes? she lives in Pachuca.  Jurauz is a travel for her.  but will do if needed

Juarez is the only location where immigrant visa interviews (to include K visas) are conducted.

ok.  24 hours bus from her town..  also a week off meand having to quit her job 😅

 

we got this.  will be filing early octobet after i visit for a week in septemeber.
