Confused, I-190 ROE for a green card I have already turned in!

Upon POE my husband and I had been married for more than 2 years but I was issued the wrong green card and given a 2 year conditional GC instead of the 10 year one.

I filed the I-90 in July 2017, along with my I-90 package I Included the original 2 year GC because you are instructed to turn in the original GC.

Today I received a letter in the mail with a ROE for the original GC I already turned in.

has anyone ever had this happen?

Hi I see that nobody has responded. I would send a letter back and state that you have sent in the GC with your i-90 application. You certainly should reply to the rfe otherwise it gets denied. In the meantime I'd suggest to make an infopass appointment to explain this situation and get a stamp in your passport. I'm so sorry for all the hassle you're going through but I hope you get it sorted out.

At this time seek assistance of your congressman or senator’s immigration aide. Sign the release form on their website and Monday do a walk in to their local office. They have direct line of communication with USCIS.

Good luck!
