Morning everyone! One more day until Friday. Thank God. It has been a long week. Only bad thing is I have to work on Satuday. It's a beautiful day here in the North Georgia Mountains. I wish I were out horseback riding instead of going to work. Hope everyone has a good day.

I am very thankful it is Thursday but ths week has not been a really good one, my mom has had cancer of the lung for two years and Tuesday we found out it is in her brain, yesterday we found out there is more the 12 leasions and most are around her celebrum which controls her motor funtions. i am very glad that they have a great pain management system forher and that she is not in so much pain. Today she will start radiation which is only to sustain her quaility of life which is only for months now. I knew my mom didn't have very much longer to live but I never thought it would go to her brain and I thought my husband would atleast get to meet her before she passes, that I am beginning to wonder now.

Just thought i would share why I am having a bad week and I know that what is Gods plan will e so if it is meant for Hasan to meet my mom it will be and whatever my mom has to endure God will be beside her through it all. One thing that I have really learned to lean on more thenever is my faith, I guess I had lessons to learn and through this whole immigration process. I all also learned that you can meet prople online that will be a great support group and help you and care for you along the way, as to all that are helpers, supporters and doers I know that God will shower you with blessings.

Have a great Thursday and make the most of each day!!!

Oh I am so very sorry to hear that! I hope that your mom gets to see him but if that's not possible in person could you perhaps hook up a webcam or at least have them talk on the phone a bit? I"ll keep your mom in my prayers. (F)

Hubby finally finished his military paper stuff so he can pick it all up Thursday insha Allah.

Slow and steady wins the race I guess. Next stop is to get a passport. Hopefully he'll be able to submit the pkt 3 in about two to three weeks. Kinda bummed that it's taking so long but oh well nothing I can do to move it all along. :crying:

I had a whirlwind 36 hours flying to Kansas and back for an interview. KS looks a lot different than CA. I saw the river nearly up to the highway, but the weather was mostly agreeable while I was there, oh, except for humidity, which is something I don't have here. The job is home based so I won't have to learn about extreme climates if I get the job.

Has Moody posted since Mo has been here?

How can one claim God cares to judge a fornicator over judging a lying, conniving bully? I guess you would if you are the lying, conniving bully.

Moody said she would be gone for 1 1/2 weeks after Moh arrived. I expect we should hear from her on Monday.

me be here - but standing by with buckets, the missouri river is flooding :D

We're going help sand bag tomorrow. Gosh....it's like a major deja vu from 1993. I'm praying it doesn't get as bad as it did then.

I was thinking about that too Amy. I was still in Nebraska in 1993 and no one could travel anywhere east because of all the water.
