DS-160 fees

Hello, we're in the process of completing the DS-160 for K1.  Will we be charged a fee once, the DS-160 is accepted?  Asking because, I've read conflicting info regarding this.

There is no charge for DS-160. You only need to pay for you interview appointment later.

Thank you for replying...when you say "interview application" is this different from the medical?

You will need to pay for medical and vaccination fee during the medical checkup.

 

You will need to pay interview fee for K-1 when you want to set up an interview appointment.

There is no fee for filing form DS-160. 

 

Once your Visa Status is marked as "Ready" on the CEAC platform (https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx) you will be able to schedule the interview and pay the $265 fee through https://ais.usvisa-info.com/.  

 

You're Italian like me, so the medical fee will be €220, plus the additional costs for missing vaccinations if you have any. You will pay this fee on the day of your medical at Istituto Diagnostico Varelli, cash or credit. Good luck
