We have our AOS interview today in Pittsburgh at 2:00pm.

Surprisingly we are not nervous at all; we are actually excited about it.

I think we are really prepared for it and have all recommended evidence and paperwork.

We just hope I am not stuck in the name check, that's all we are worried about, even still, it will be a matter of time till I get through it so no big deal I guess.

Will keep everyone posted ltaer tonight on how it went.

well, we got it... :D

we got there an hour early and waiting and then fifteen minutes after our scheduled interview the lady called us in.

she swore us and then we sat down.

I was wearing a sport coat and tie and my wife a suite. the interviewer looked at my wife and said that she looks like a lawyer and asked he if she was one. my wife told her that she is just a law student, and then the interviewer went to tell us about how her divorce lawyer would not return her calls and how how she was a victim to identity theft and she talked throughout the interview about that.

she asked us for our lease, and asked if we had signed them at the same time or at different times and we told her that it was the latter. she also asked for if our joint sponsor was self employed and whether we had a letter of employment from him, so we gave it to her. she then asked about joint insurance and told her that we have the insurance through the school and then asked us if we had joint bank account and we gave her the bank paper.

that's all she asked for. she then returned to me my passport (no-stamp), driver's license, social security card, and EAD card. when she returned the EAD card to me, i thought to myself that I must have been stuck in the namecheck. but then she looked at us and said, everything looks good and that I was approved and that she will process the paperwork for it tomorrow.

I asked her if i was stuck in the namecheck and she said "no, you are one of the lucky ones.."

she really did not ask us anything about our marriage, she did not ask us how we met, when we wed, pictures or anything to that regards.

the whole interview took about 5 minutes and 4 of those 5 minutes she spent telling us about her identity theft.

to be honest the lady was kinda weird, and she kept on telling us how sleepy she was, and she sure acted like she was sleepy too.

when she returned my IDs to me, she said that i should get the greencard in about a week and that it will be shipped from missouri. she did not say anything about removing the conditions in two years.

We are just soo happy that everything went well.
