How long before I can chase the NVC for a case number?

Does anyone know when I will get a case number from the NVC & what is the best method for obtaining it?

Check out my time line. It may give you an idea of how yours will go. We had got our NOA2 and about a month later we were scheduling my fiance's medical and appointment.

Mine is an IR1 - CR1 visa and not a K1 so I don't think the same time scale will apply.

Ah...I was thinking you were wanting to book a medical like all the K1s do. Was wondering if you got confused. Nope, just me. 😂
