You do realize that a true terrorist would never have a social media account, right?  Or even if they did, it would be cleverly done so as not ot appear “abnormal”.  Those who wish to do us harm are not stupid, generally.  Brutal perhaps, maybe even vicious.  But not stupid.

It was an example. What I meant is for them to access anything you've ever done with a computer.

But ISIS was actually stupid enough to try and hang out on Twitter though I think Twitter finally realized it after a few years and kicked them out.

If it were up to me, you'd have a thorough interview process for all visas for all countries and if you can't find anything negative you let them in. Anything else ends up going down the rabbit hole of us all living in padded cells with robot overlords feeding us cups of mush so we can spend cradle to grave in safety.

There's an element of risk in life that I'm willing to accept for freedom. I'm afraid I might be alone here though. Which is fine, I don't intend to live here forever.

Do you extend that risk acceptance to 2nd amendment rights or restrict it soley to immigration policy?

Sorry i didnt mean to be cryptic, i just realized i confused you with another poster.

They had a spouse from Yemen and were affected by the ban, he said better to let the random bad guy in (im paraphrasing) than to punish the innocent, i was asking if he expanded the concept to other areas, not realizing i was asking the wrong person.

Lol now im more confused, function of old age.

to clarify, i was curious how far their risk tolerance went, i took liberal ease (Immigration) VS conservative protectionism (2nd amendment) to see if their attitude extended beyond a personal interests or was based on libereral or conservative interests
