I am a bit at loss here. Everywhere I read the form I-130A is used together with I-130 instead of G-325A as of last year.

In our case, my wife arrived to the US on K1 (fiancée) visa so we shouldn't need I-130A, HOWEVER my lawyer insists we need to include one too...

Did anyone ever hear about a requirement to file I-130A with Adjustment of Status (I-485) package in case of fiancee K1/K2, form I-129F petition?

Thanks!!!

As you probably know the I-130/I-130A are for petitioning of an Alien Relative/Spouse. Assuming you married within the 90 days you wouldn't need I-130 (try to file the AOS within the 90 days as well). You should be filling I-485 (AOS) , I-765 (Employment Authorization), and I-131 (Advanced Parole). If you got married outside the 90 day window then you'd need the I130

Good luck
