I am not sure if this is something new coming from USCIS or it has always been this way.

It is amazing how the online case  status updates in details. First, it said " Card mailed to me" then days later, changed to 'USPS picked up card for deliver to the address on file" , then last update today after receiving my green card in priority mail envelops, it said on my case status "Card was delivered to the address by USPS"

I like all the updates that keep people aware of what is going with delivering your green card.

Same! I'm at "card is in production" so i check several times a day. Did you have to sign to receive yours? I know they changed the way they send our EAD/GC but my mailman didn't have me sign for the EAD, she just shoved it in the mailbox :dead: I had my mail stolen before so i really want to be there when they deliver it.

No, I did not have to sign anything. It came in red priority envelope. There was tracking number that they gave me on my cast status as well which I liked, because I was able to get updates on the status of the mail and in what state or city. Mine came out of Montana and it took three days after posting on the cast status that it was send by USPS.

By the way, I never had a message saying "card in production" seems like it is different from one place to another.
