Hello guys,

I am in the process of becoming a US citizen and want to apply for my parents to come to the US as soon as I am done with the process.

Any idea which way is faster for them to come? Isn't it the only way to apply for them is me petitioning for them to come here by sending I-130 form to USCIS from here or there would be another way where they could apply from the US embassy back home and this would be faster for the green cards to be obtained?

Thank you!

I-130 is the only way.

No idea what do you mean apply from US embassy. At the end of I-130 process they will go to the embassy for their interview but that's about it.

The fastest way is the only way. I-130 for each parent. Will take a year or more. No way to make it faster.

You will need to file separate I-130s with USCIS for your parents to start the immigration process.  This is the only way.

Your parents can not start the process by filing directly with the US Embassy.  The immigration process does not start this way.

Read the Guides on VJ.  Print out and read the I-130 and instructions.

  Immigration hasn't changed since Reagan.  Doubt that anything will change in the next year for petitioning a parent.

Greetings!

The best and easiest route if your parents wanted to live here in the USA is through the I-130 process.

P.S.

I'd lived in Amman for awhile and I remembered the streets with a lot of roundabouts, What a beautiful place! I got to see Ma'in, Dead Sea, and that famous and oldest map to Bethlehem. Good luck!
