One month to apply. How do I cope?

Finally I'm one month away from filing according to the 90 days rule. The problem is that after 5 years of thinking about it day and night, I suddenly can't cope with waiting anymore. I am very impatient, I look at the watch about 20 times a day to see how many hours remain till another day is gone, and time passes REALLY slow now. I'm also unable to do things to keep my mind off it, because if I watch a movie I find myself wondering which actors got the US citizenship through naturalization and what was their application like, when I go out I tell myself that I better go back home lest I fall and break a leg then miss the biometric appointment , and even when I slept last night I dreamed that the interviewer turns out to be my ex who really hates me 

 

Help me. How do I cope with that last month where time appears to stand still?

Go out and enjoy the summer weather. Get some distance from VisaJourney. If you really must give in, get your petition together.

If you haven't done this already, the below might help pass the time:

 

Use the time to get your evidence/documents together before applying. 

Get your photocopies of any documents you will be submitting in order (for your own records, in case the IO keeps the original of something).

If you don't have one, go out and buy a binder/folder/page protectors to bring any originals in when you go for your interview.

Make a photocopy of your GC for your own records (just for memory's sake, since you'll never see it again after your oath---oddly, I suddenly found myself quite attached to my GC as soon as I had to hand it over and felt like a part of me was gone lol).

Go to the IRS website and order/print out the last 5-year's worth of tax return transcripts (some 5-year applicants have had this requested at their interview).

Research on VJ for threads on tips for filling out the paper application (or, if you're doing it online, research those threads for any unanswered questions you may have about how the online process works).

Didn't stick around to see and woke up in absolute terror. She had that effect on me even when we were together
