Hi, I am from Puerto Rico, a US citizen, and I live in Florida. My fiance is a Venezuelan citizen, but he has been residing in Quito, Ecuador for the last year and a half and recently received a temporary visa to live and work in Ecuador. We were engaged on New Years eve and now we want to start the process of our K1 visa I-129F petitioner's application.

I would like to know a few things that I have not read anywhere online. First, since he is a temporary resident of Ecuador am I able to request him at the Ecuador US Embassy? If so, which embassy is the one processing and interviewing for K1 Visa applications? Where in the application do I prove he is living there? What would i need to include it? I am also very confused as to how to include the addresses on the I-129F application. My fiance does not use any of the mailing address services there, so we are both confused as to how to properly write the physical addresses on the application. Can anyone help me with that as well?

First of all, thank you for helping me out Liz! I will write the address as is. Another question, though, he has never received any correspondence at his physical address. He usually uses the near DHL mail service to receive mail or packages. Can I use a DHL address for the mailing address on the application?

On another note, he has been living there for 1yr and half, but received his temporary resident visa just this month. He does have the stamp of entrance on his passport. He only applied for the temporary because of our relationship, because we were not sure whether we were going to marry and stay in Ecuador or marry and stay here in the states. We just recently decided that we were going to go for the US K1 visa because we both know it is what's best for my daughter.  So should I use his passport as proof of residency so that I am able to request him at the Quito US Embassy? Is Quito's US Embassy taking K1 Visa applicant interviews? I am unsure.
