Updated Affidavit of Support before Interview?

Hi,

 

Is it advice able to submit the AOS  to the embassy during interview that was submitted to NVC, with the old date,

or, to submit a new AOS with updated numbers (if they changed), and a signature more close to the interview date?

Can the old AOS be considered outdated?

if nothing has changed as in details filled in AOS, i think you are fine. 

If the situation (job) changed, then get a new AOS ready 

 

However, to be extra safe even if nothing has changed, I would just have a copy of old AOS and also have a new fresh AOS. I would keep them as my hidden cards and if embassy would ask, i would give them, if not then get back home and shred

That is a question looking for a problem. Just take the signed AOS, i.e., exactly what you uploaded to CEAC. NVC and consulates both know that they are not the fastest in the world, so things become a bit stale. That's why police certificates are good for up to a year. If you are that concerned, take additional proof for the current income (like newer paystubs). Keep It Simple!
