I-864 Affidavit of Support , waiting for NVC case#

Hello, i have been searching for an answer but cannot find it. I would appreciate any help. My question is, can i fill out form I-864 Affidavit of Support while we are atill waiting for the NVC  case number and Invoice ID #?  I just want to be prepared to upload all the documents as soon as possible.  Does the I-864 have an expiration date?

yes you can,  you can download it from the immigration website and fill it out, forms have an expiration date, but as long as you make sure that's the latest version you can fill it out. it won't make much of a difference, because you can also fill it out when you receive the instructions at the nvc stage.
