Some companies have a plantation mentality...I've worked for a couple of them myself. Their loss is your gain. Put those clowns in the rearview mirror. The economy is booming and it is an opportunity to move on to bigger and better things.

The last time I got canned was in the 1980's as a casualty of Reaganomics. The unemployment rate was around 10% in Houston, but I managed to find an even better job after months of searching. I've never known unemployment since then.

The reason for firing they gave you is so stupid - it's hard to believe it's the actual reason. Maybe they're downsizing or maybe they're jusy a--holes, but anyways, now you have a chance to look for something better.

Sounds like a sh_t job anyway. Thank them for doing you a favor - you will find something better this week.

I own my company, so in a way, I am always looking for work :) After a few years, I have learned that it is a nice feeling. Good Luck!

So today I went to work, normally... 1 hour later they called me, since im in 'probation' for 90 days (trial period for them)... they told me they found a document falsification.. which I thought, man did I forged a signature or something? no..
