Hey guys. When I came over from London on my K1 visa, everything was fine with my medical and immunisations except I was missing my 2nd MMR dose. I got the 2nd dose recently here from my local health department but the civil surgeon won’t accept it and insists they won’t have help unless they’re the one administering it. So I’m getting the 2nd dose again (costing 140 dollars, not including fees). I’m also hoping I can have the civil surgeon complete her their part of Form I-693 so we can file as soon as the wedding takes place.

My question is, will it be enough for me to show her my incomplete vaccination sheet from my medical in London and have her complete a new sheet saying I’ve had all my shots? I don’t have a letter from my Dr in London stating which shots I’ve had before anymore.

Also, does Form I-693 have to be included in the AOS packet after getting married or can it be filed at a later time (after initially filing for AOS)

My wife and I went for out AOS interview on the 9th of June. At the interview, the officer asked us for the Medical Exam. We told him it was already submitted with the K1 petition in Singapore. He replied by saying" that medical exam already more than 12 months old and expired on March, we need to submit new one."

We made an appointment with Civil Surgeon and my my wife did the Medical Exam. As far as Vaccinations, we showed the Doctor the DS-3025 vaccination sheet from Singapore and he said she does not need vaccination, this is good enough. Three days later we got the sealed envelope and we mailed it to USCIS. This was on June, 15th. June 18th, USCIS  received the sealed envelope and yesterday June 22nd the case status changed to Card was mailed.

And yes, any of the Health Department local clinics are not listed on the CIVIL SURGEON list, this is what we were told by the officer. Because we asked if Los Angeles County Public health clinics could do, he said "NO' we need one that is approved by USCIS.

I am not sure about London if you were required to have Medical Exam or not. But if you did, then that one goes straight to USCIS inside the envelope when you arrived to USA and was given to Border agent.

Now, if medical still required, then you can take one at Civil Surgeon in sealed envelope and take it to your AOS interview, just in case.
