I know this. But someone in here said that you cannot be deployed to Korea which I don't think is correct because my neighbor said that her husband was deployed in Korea right now.

I said this. Deployments are for.. well, war zones. Korea is a duty station. Duty station that can be either accompanied or unaccompanied by family members.

yes, deployment dont allowed family to come with them. Only Station  Personnel are allowed to Bring his family.

Unless it has changed drastically ( I was stationed in Korea from 1991-1992) Korea for the Army anyway is basically an unaccompanied tour it's only a year in duration and dependents are not allowed to move with the member, as always there are exceptions but few. Again I'm talking Army, Air Force, Navy that's a whole different situation. I'm speaking generally for the Army member most of them are unaccompanied in Korea in fact I would venture to say 95% of them.

Wow if he went through all the procedures for a Montana Proxy Marriage, then doing the spousal visa  would not be a problem, but we don't know your situation so good luck SSG/E-6 means fairly mature in his career anyway he still would need to have permission. Also proxy is used when either of the participants can't be there in person. Your situation is getting more and more complicated with each post. Best of luck to you both.

his been in the Army for 23 years, went to war 5x  and yes his very matured, his processing his retirement now. his rank should be higher by now but his ex wife was a psycho! and always makes him got in trouble to his officers.:( We did proxy marriage because he needed to go back to the US  earlier than we expected and we didint want to get separated not being married. My problem is we dont have Permission to his officer  he told me its not needed  in Montana Proxy Marriage, he said its not needed because we are not gonna take Korean  Marriage Procedure. Will start  Spousal Visa if i get denied in B2 visa. Thank you

''his rank should be higher by now but his ex wife was a psycho''

Don't you even know the rank that you husband hold? Also, what has his rank to do with his ex wife?

Also, he has been in the Army for 23 years but is an E6........? Right.

How can his wife be the reason that he is still an E6? Doesn't make sense at all.

we did  Montana Proxy Marriage because its the easiest way than the korean procedures

This might be an issue when you apply for CR-1.  Proxy marriages sometimes receive extra scrutiny.
