yes there is a list of drop off documents location

So collect any more proof you might have, more pictures, more communication, anything ya'll might have. Family writing letters attesting to your relationship, then take it to the drop off location. If it's enough they can change their mind and still give you the visa.

Hello everyone.. I went through my k1 visa interview yesterday in Mumbai consulate.. He asked me inappropriate questions from me.. He asked me about my wedding cards, hall receipts, lists of guests etc ,that I hadnt at that time to show him..  I answered him when I got the visa, I will book my ticket as soon as possible, once I reached there we will get the earliest date ND will get married..  Already my fiance has found some halls for our wedding ceremony.. But he wasn't satisfied from my answer..  He handed over 221 g refusal letter.. It shows that they want us to show more proofs to show our relationship is genuine...

Please help to what's the meaning of this letter...  I'm so worried...

You should submit more proofs of your relationship, which means more pictures of you including family friends cousins places where have you been together.Take some pictures with him and your family and his family if it is possible. And send those pictures at the address they gave to you.Don’t worry about.Everything will be ok.Good luck.

For reference, a 221(g) is a refusal. However, it's what many call a "soft" refusal as it can often be overcome via providing additional documents, waiting for checks to complete, etc. Refusal under section 221(g) of the INA is basically saying that the visa application is incomplete so they are unable to determine eligibility for the visa yet. Fixing whatever is wrong with the application (i.e. providing additional documents) lets them determine eligibility and make a decision on the case.

We were never thinking about to book any hall booking till I got the visa..  We have decided to book it after I got the visa..  I answered him.  We have plans ND looking forward to book the hall.. Once I got the visa ,as soon as possible once I reached there, my fiance will book the hall before reach me over there.. He was stuck on this question..  Why not u booked it,  show me any receipt of ur wedding dress,  guests just,  cards,  vendors name etc..  Exactly these things has written in my refusal letter to show...

If I were you, I would also think of booking a wedding venue (hall, get a dress, rings, receipts, wedding invites etc, etc,) and submit this info with additional chats, family pics etc.

Just my two cents...

Just so you know, they can pretty much ask you any question. Appropriate or not. They will always have the upper hand. You already said your relationship/marriage is an arranged one so you will need to prove this is not a relationship for a GC.
