What was the reason given for the denial?  He should have gotten paperwork at his interview with the reason for the denial.

With your I-134, he should have known what's your income.

My wife definately know the exact year and my age when I immigrated as a child.  Couples who know each other well should know this.

my ex immigrated from japan when he was a kid.

we were married 20 years.

i have no freaking clue what year it was. he was AROUND 5, so that puts it AROUND .... 76? something like that. an educated guess i could make, but a 100% answer? nope.

But I could tell you his social security number, Drivers license number, every job he ever had (okay, he rarely worked so that ones not hard and another story all together LMAO). but you get my drift.

You know that he arrived around 5.  If he was born in 1971, then 76 sounds right.  You do know.

Without knowing how he answered, an answer only vaguely knowing when your fiancee immigrated seems weird to me.  Coming as a child could mean any time between 0 and 18 years to me.  Knowing approximately when would show more knowledge about your fiancee.

like i said, i could make an educated guess, but it could be off a year or two. it was never anything that ever came up for us, as he had a permanent green card that never had to be renewed- and was actually green lol  When he passed away in 2016, the only weird thing was that because his birth certificate was in japanese (and expired passport), social security had to ship it off to be translated. that was the closest i ever had to come to dealing with anything related to his immigration.

the fiance not knowing how much the petitioner made is a bigger red flag to me. my fiance knows my income comes from my 'full-ish' time job (technically im full time but work part time, most of the time lol), a trust fund, and freelance work. and knows the rough average of what i make a year, between the 3.

I agree.  Exact may not be necessary, but a good general idea would help towards proving a bona fide relationship.  A vague idea or not knowing seems like they don't really know each other.

The paper said, He failed to answer basic questions about the fiancé,  and  was coming to the US for solely immigration purposes.

It appears that the US Embassy does not believe you are a real couple because he failed to answer basic questions about you.

Please outline how you met each other, visits, contact, etc.   What are the red flags in your relationship?

we've been a couple for a while, I have tons of trips where I went to see him and a lot of pictures, He was issued a 221g form because of an error on his birth certificate, we fixed the issue and sent it back.. and they returned the passport without visa with a letter explaining the denial. I did about 4 trips per year.

My fiancé is very shy... He must have been very nervous when he did the interview. that must be the reason why he failed to answer the questions. But we love each other and we will try everything.

OMG.  Why is it so hard for you to give useful information?  You are so vague.  Being vague makes you look like fakers.

"A while" can mean anything.  When did you meet?  How many years?  How did you meet?  Telling me that you have been a couple for a while tells me absolutely nothing.  I have no idea when and how you met or how long ago.  You gave literally no information.

"Tons of trips" can mean anything.

What did you do on those visits?  Did you meet family?

See the general direction that I am going in?  You have only provided vague information.  If your fiance was that way, it's easy to see why they don't think you two actually know each other.

If you want good answers, then you first need to provide good information.

I am sorry if you think I was so vague, we have been in a relationship for 3 years going on 4 this year. I go see him 3-4 times a year, know all his family and he knows all my family as well. and he had all the passport stamps with him during the  interview, I have been to many trips with his family and mine together as well. He had Pictures of text messages  and over 20 pics with him at the interview.

I'm done.  If you can not write more than a few vague sentences, I can not help you.

Still don't know how you met.  Don't know what visiting 3-4 times mean; 1 day each or 2 weeks, etc?????  How do you know his family?  How does he know your family?

Trying telling your story in a few paragraphs with details.

Right now, you are literally telling me nothing that shows you know each other.  Just a vague few sentences.

Best of luck.
