Hi I am in the same boat. The cases that are not transferred to anywhere seem stuck in CSC without touching. I do not get any updates even after biometrics done in March. Frustrated

Online website said biometrics under review in March.  Then early July I got a biometrics appt for two weeks later.  The online site never got updated.  Case is still at csc, never got transferred.

Hi guys! I have been a silent reader here but today I would like to share the good news! I have been approved and have received my card!!! 

 

Below is my timeline:

July 12, 2018- Package Sent

July 13, 2018- Package received at Vermont Center

July 16, 2018- Notice date for 18 months extension

August 22, 2018- Biometric Appointment done

July 15, 2019- Status changed to new card is being produced

July 17, 2019- Status changed to card was mailed to me

July 19, 2019- Received the approval notice and Green card in the mail

 

There was no transfer, no RFE, and no interview.

When did you have your bio appt? The Uscis case status online is down from July 19 to July 21 11:59et as per update on uscis website due to maintenance. Maybe that’s the case?

I was looking on the forum the other day and saw someone said his friend rescheduled and didn't get another appointment until after 6 months. So, let me tell you what I did.

 

I had already got a "No bio-metrics needed mail in March and I traveled out of the country in May, but then got another letter for a bio-metrics appointment for July the 5th (thank God for USPS email notification). So I told my Wife to help me mark the reschedule box and mail it back, since I won't be back in the US till the 12th.

And then when I got back, I was scared it would take 6 months or longer to get another appointment, so I took the photocopy my Wife made before mailing the original back to USCIS to my local application support center on the 18th and explained to the staff at the entrance, He told me go ahead and join the line and that it won't be a problem (which I did) and they did my bio-metrics even after my original date (July the 5th) had passed, with no questions asked or problem given. The next morning, I woke up to an email notification with the bio-metrics updated on my case.

 

I suggest you try to visit your local application support center and see if they can still capture your bio-metrics. Just explain your situation and hopefully it works out for you too.

I had my biometrics done on July 17th, 2019 and the case status hasn't been updated yet. From reading previous posts, aren't the status usually got updated one day or two after taking biometrics? My current status is stuck in March that they finished reviewing my fingerprints back in March. 

 

Is anyone else experiencing the same?

Honey, I had my biometrics done in MARCH and my case hasn't been updated yet o.O and I am not the only one either!!

Click "spoiler" below for a detailed account of our journey to a CR1 visa via DCF in Athens, Greece.

 

2011 - Met hubby online and became friends
Early 2013 - Confessed our love for each other * Late 2013 - I got pregnant with our daughter
2014 - Our baby was born in Athens, Greece and completed our family. We now have two boys and a girl!! 2013 - 2015 - Looking for jobs in Greece, none were available (due to socioeconomic crisis) 2015 - Decided only way to feed our family was to immigrate and started the process December 2015 - Got married (Greece has a LOT of red tape for foreigners marrying Greeks)
January 2016 - Finished gathering all documents and getting them translated

28th January 2016 - Finally filed I-130s
29th June - ISSUED!!!!!!1st July - Visa packages and passports delivered to DHL.4th July - Visas in hand! CU in two weeks USA!!
19th July- POE Detroit. All went well!! (excluding our screaming, jet lagged toddler!!)

 

After Arrival in the US

September 2016 - Hubby is diagnosed with congestive heart failure
October - February 2016 - Battle with drug use, overdosing, bringing home a tiny paycheck

March - July 2017 - I am working 80 hr weeks to make ends meet. Discovered hubby's affair. Still overdoses and is hospitalized. Has quit working all together.
July - October 2017 - Marriage counseling. Revealed hubby has "several" mental conditions. Is started on several mental meds.

October 2017 - Got accepted for a college course. Got better job to help raise my kids.

October 2017 - March 2018 - Situation at home is toxic. He files for divorce.

July 2018 - Divorce is final. I have full custody of our daughter.

 

ROC (GC expires July 19th 2018)

July 16th - Package for ROC is delivered to the CA service center (divorce waiver).

August 30th - NOA1 received with 18 month extension (fee waiver approved).

March 28th 2019 - Biometrics

August 8th 2019 - Case Approved No RFE No Interview - 10 year GC in production

N400 (Online - Detroit, MI office)
June 6th 2023 - Applied for naturalization under 5 year rule.
June 7th 2023 - Application received/Biometric will be reused.
June 16th - Interview scheduled.
July 27th - Upcoming interview.



**Our DCF journey to an IV took 5 months and 1 day from turning in the I-130 to getting "Issued"**

Got so tired of seeing zero updates on my case other than "case received", I decided to call and do some checking.  I was able to confirm that they do know some cases are not updating online, but have no idea if/when it will be fixed.  I was able to confirm that biometrics show as completed in their system on the date it was completed.  And I was able to determine that my case has not been transferred and I still have no F****ing idea when they will ever get to it.

For me , no updates after "Fingerprint review completed " status on 8th June 2019

June 11th 2018 - Application sent.

June 13th 2018 - USCIS Received Date 
June 28th 2018 - Notice of Action (Received Notice of Action, with 18 months of extension for Conditional Green Card) 
March 8th 2019 - Bio-metrics waived notice

June 5th 2019 - Walked in for Biometrics( Appointment scheduled for 12th June 2019)

June 8th 2019 - Status updated to "Fingerprint Review Completed)

Waiting Waiting Waiting ..... Hope that the wait ends soon .

This issue is only to Floridians. No updates at all. I called them and asked why I am not getting any updates. She said me not to get worried about not getting updates but I am within the timeline. She said my case is in California that means mine was not transferred to anywhere.

This issue is only to Floridians. No updates at all. I called them and asked why I am not getting any updates. She said me not to get worried about not getting updates but I am within the timeline. She said my case is in California that means mine was not transferred to anywhere. 

Where did you see that it's only to floridians?  I live in Massachusetts and my status online hasn't been updated either.

NVC Stage:

Physical letter received at home address March 17th 2016 (away on business trip)

DS-261 Completed- March 18th 2016

AOS Fee Paid- March 18th 2016

IV Fee Paid- March 26th 2016

IV Application Completed- March 30th 2016

IV and AOS packages sent- May 19th

Interview appointment date received via e-mail- June 2nd (10 business days? how is that even possible?!)

Interview set for June 20th (super short notice!)

VISA DENIED at interview but followed up over email :cry:

VISA ARRIVED 6/30/2016 with no notice of approval over email :pop:

POE Fort Lauderdale 8/15/16 Went smoothly and she's home! :dance:
