Yes it is.

Try this one https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

You need to create a new account. Mine has never appeared on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do which is "supposed" to be the "official" one.

ps: up to date Nov 2018 and still nothing about biometrics or anything. 🤦‍♂️

I will that link tonight and hopefully it will pull out something.

I know a lot of us is in the same boat, no biometrics or anything and very annoying....well all we can do is wait.

Regarding the biometric inquiry.

It says in the I-751 Instructions from that:

" if you are the U.S. citizen or Lawful permanent Spouse,  you do not need to include a biometric service fee at the time this petition is submitted. If USCIS later notifies you that you must submit your biometrics, you will receive a biometric service appointment notice with instructions on how to submit the additional fee."

From what I understand, spouses of the US citizens are not required to have another biometric service appointment,  unless based on each applicant case, the USCIS has a doubt on the applicant identity or criminal records and decides that the applicant must submit biometric information for more background check.

I saw many applicants getting their i751 approved without getting another biometric appointment.

However, I noticed all applicants include their biometric fees when they submit their Application, even if the instructions don't recommend it. If they don't include it, the uscis will reject their application and request that the applicant provide all the fees, even if the instructions don't recommend doing that.

And it's weird that the USCIS don't refund or return these biometric fees or recall to stop the applicants to submit them. It's really confusing and arbitrary!!!

So I hope it will help those who are worried about biometric service appointment. However, if you have included dependents in your application, that's completely different. These instructions only apply to the spouses not other applicants.

So that this does not lend itself to misunderstandings, those who are not obliged to send the fee for biometrics service are the spouses (US citizen or permanent resident) who are making the request to remove the conditions in the residency of the spouse.

It's pretty common now with the i751 process not to pass biometric. Only the combo filers with the N400 will have to do their biometric appointment from the N400.

I'm not sure to understand. The instructions regarding the i751 are intended for the conditional resident homself doing the application. I never heard that us Spouses could fill out this application at any moment on the behalf of their conditional Spouse and make requests to waive the biometric fee. The only moment the us Spouse is invited in this process is if joint filing, at the interview. Most of the time,  they are not even needed besides their signatures.

The i751 is completely different from the AOS

Yes it is. What's your point? If you don't want to submit fingerprint fee, don't submit it. You'll see what happens.

I responded to that question: " if you don't want to submit Fingerprints fee, don't submit it. you'll see what happens. We all know what happens.

That not really the point, submitting biometric service fees or not.

The main point is to know that applicants might or might not have a biometric appointment. I think that the most people concern here: when are they going to receive their biometric appointment notice? Maybe never! And it's normal, based on many prior approval experiences!

The money part doesn't really matter but still confusing and arbitrary.

Again: what were you expecting when dealing with the government? Any positive and reasonable outcome is a miracle. How it happens doesn't really matter.

Instructions say: pay the fee. Pay it, don't think about it.

That's not what the instructions say. There is a beautiful exception for spouses of the US citizens that seems to be very clear and doesn't need more legal interpretation or to fight with the government.

The proof is many applicants get approved without getting another biometric appointment, unless if the uscis decide otherwise.

But like I said that part doesn't matter!!! Paying for a service many applicants don't use...obviously it's all good!!!👍🙏🏽

(eyeroll) No, you are wrong. A post above already explained this, but you decided to ignore it. The exception is for the spouse of the applicant, not for the applicant-spouse.

Are you thinking about filing a N400 for citizenship while your i751 is pending? I saw many applicants getting both approved as combo.

Debating on it, but still have months to go on that.
