also, if any of those places want to confirm your status they have their ways to, they don’t use the same system as the applicants do. If asked, your extension letter is the document to prove you’re a legal resident, so there’s nothing to be worried about

Not to make this more confusing than it is, but for us the older website is the only one that shows the latest update:

"As of September 12, 2018, we completed our review of your fingerprints and are working on your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number....."

 

The newer website is stuck on:

Hi!

I've been following this thread for sometime and haven't seen any updates from California filers, has anyone received their biometrics appointment??? I'm getting worried we filed in July and didn't receive a NOA1 in the mail till recently .... we had change our mailing address to c/o my parents because their postal person actually delivers mail to people unlike our guy. 

 

I talked to an officer on the phone and they were surprised we haven't had our biometrics done since our NOA is dated 7/10. Should we be worried its been over 2 months and nothing .... are Cali people in the same boat with bio appt?

If you check May filers of 2018, you can see that so far there is nobody received bio appointment.

Hi,

 

We filed the I-751 petition jointly and sent it to CSC on July 11. Around a week and a half later, we received the I-797 NOA saying that they received the petition on July 12. The NOA was dated July 19 and said that my conditional resident status was extended for 18 months from the expiration date on my green card. USCIS cashed the check on July 23.

 

And that's it so far...

 

We haven't heard anything about the biometrics appointment yet. We were starting to get worried. But after reading this thread, it seems that we're not the only one in this situation.

 

Additionally, we've noticed that the receipt number doesn't seem to work on the USCIS Case Status Online page.

63 days after Case Was Received and still no notifications about fingerprints NoA2. (CA)

 

So if the people from May haven't had any notifications so far, it means we will be two months behind for whatever news happens in our updates. I honestly quitted checking all over and over again.  I will probably be back around here in November. We just have to wait and wait 😕. Once the people from May start getting updates, I will count two months more to expect news on mine. This is for people in CA.

I already had an account there for my green card so I added the I-751 case. Now I will be able to follow up!

 

However, I became concerned as that site still shows the first address that I had when I arrived in the U.S. I've moved twice since then (July 2016) and notified USCIS accordingly. Additionally, there was this message:

How come a new green card was produced and I haven't got it yet? Was it sent to the old address? Why would they produce a new green card and send it to me when I was supposed to file I-751 between April and July this year?

So reading recent comments about people from JULY 2017, they are receiving approvals on OCTOBER 2018, that means 15 months. I think we all JULY 2018 can know make estimates about our cases.
