Ours was received August 2nd but case online says received August 23...big delay. If it’s been 30 days you could call maybe?? Who knows what is 30 days for them ...we got our NOA but no biometric yet.....which I’m concerned. Good luck! Don’t worry you know how they operate!!!

May filers from csc are still waiting so there’s nothing to worry about.

Yours is a fee waiver, it’s not the norm and they can’t base their timeline on yours if they did not ask for a fee waiver as well

Yup the fee waiver definitely delayed things BUT the tier two said they were informed of the delay for all applicants not just special cases like mine.

(I didn't tell him about the waiver and he couldn't have known as I wasn't in the system at all at the time)

Delay of like 2 or 3 weeks in csc. Over a month either it’s a problem or a special request like a fee waiver. At least it’s what’s been going on if you check the monthly threads right before july

A Tier 2 officer told me yesterday that from now on due to the significant delay of I-751 processing at the CSC they will be waiting several months between NOA1 and scheduling biometrics since biometrics have to be no older than 12 months at the time of I-751 approval.

Yes, tracked and delivered. Forgot to mention that it’s California service center. I know they super delayed and I read that it can now even take 60 days for them to process it.... but I can’t help not to worry :)

Same here. NOA was August 6 and no word on biometrics yet. (VSC filer). Most other VSC filers have received appointments already.

We're leaving the country for 10 days next week, so I called USCIS today and asked what options we have.

We were told that we can check online to see if and when the biometrics appointment letter was sent and re-schedule if necessary.

My online status has not changed for over a month.

Can anyone confirm that it really shows online when the bio invitation letter is sent out?

It does not. It’s only updated after the biometrics appointment

What website are you looking for an update on your case?

prepare yourself anyway because this is a long wait for everyone. Csc filers from may are still waiting for biometrics and there will only be an update after that and then it’s back to a lot more waiting

CHECK CASE STATUS

And yes, after careful reading I've realized that I just have to sit back an relax. My only worry is that it seems like the update is done once your NOA for biometrics is set. So in case someone needs to quickly check my status (let's say police, bank, college, etc) it will show that my case doesn't even exists lol. 😥

That website is no longer working for new cases. Go back in the thread and you can find the link for the website you should be looking at.

also, if any of those places want to confirm your status they have their ways to, they don’t use the same system as the applicants do. If asked, your extension letter is the document to prove you’re a legal resident, so there’s nothing to be worried about
