Do I need a specific page to get into the interview?

I only have the DS-160 but I never got a confirmation page for the exact date and time of the interview. My embassy is Kiev.

Once I completed the DS-160 rather than waiting for the packet to come in the mail which will contain where to get the medical exam done and documents needed for the interview and even instructions on how to schedule an interview. I emailed the consulate directly and requested this info via email and requested a interview date via email.

Have you created a profile in the ustraveldocs System?

on the very bottom of the page (link above) you will see "Додаткові дії" - hit that. It will take you to the page you'd have to register.

 

You have to create a profile there to be able to schedule an interview. You can schedule your interview through call-center of the Embassy as well, but still  have to have an account to be able to choose a place  for your  passport pick up after interview.
