Hi all,

My CFO seminar is coming up soon. Was just wondering if I need to order another original CENOMAR for me? I think USEM did not return the original I submitted to them.

Thanks!

Shouldn't.

Required documents are in item "C".

http://cfo.gov.ph/gcp.html

CFO has this "other documents" clause to cover any and everything CFO could ask for  when they want to harass a person.. so they could ask for it, but as noted it is not on the required list.

Thank you! Now that me and my fiancee are at the end of this first leg of the journey, I'd like to thank everyone here. This forum has been a fantastic place. Thank you to the kind well-intentioned folks here. I will try my best to help out here as well.

Hi! So we received pur NOA2 in the mail on June 18, 2018. I know i still have to give atleast 2 weeks before calling NVC. I just want to ask you how it took for you to get your MNL#? TIA 😊

Also for @Hank_ , do they get the i 134 form before they start the interview or will they just ask for it if they need to see it? TIA😊

Hi, my fiancé called up NVC, and it was dictated to her. This was around a week after we got our NOA2. Email came a week after (2 weeks after NOA2). I suggest you call them up, and have them dictate and repeat your MNL number. Read it back to them also.

My fiancé talked to a surly phone operator the first time she called, when the number wasn't available yet. Second time she called she got a friendlier officer.

Good luck!

At the interview all documents are collected by the Filipino pre-screener before the actual interview with the CO.   For almost 4 years now the support evidence (I-134 ++) has not always been asked for .. yet it is still listed in the requirements.

As for NVC, wait 10-14 business days after you receive your NOA2 from USCIS before calling/emailing

Yes, this is what happened to me when I went for my interview last May 2018. Support evidence was not asked for.

@Hank_ Hi! I got our case# this morning by callig NVC. I know that in the philippines we can start paying and scheduling for the interview without the hard copy. I just dont know the steps and what to do first. Also, is it safe for us to schedule the interview 1st week of august?will we receive the hard copy before the interview?also, im planning to fly back home for the interview since last month, fortunately i requested 1st week of august as my vacay that is why we are eyeing on that week for the interview.

You do NOT need the hard copy of the NVC letter for the visa processing.    No one needs it, except YOU for your records.

So follow the process as listed in the link I have given you before.   You will be done quickly.

My fiance got denied of a US tourist visa under 214b in 2016. So we are filling out DS 160 and there's a question that goes "Have you ever been refused a US Visa?" So of course we will choose "yes". However, there has to be an explanation. I am wondering if we would just simply say that he got denied under 214b. Would that be okay? Below is the letter given to him when he got denied.
