K1 application, criminal past, and employment

Hello everyone,

Just a quick question and it's most likely cause i'm being overly paranoid about all of this.  So the situation is that I noticed in the application there's a section regarding arrests/conviction.  When I was younger, I was arrested for shoplifting and got convicted.  I've been on the straight ever since and my record has been expunged, went back to school, and now has an awesome job.  So my question is since I have to report this information, would the USCIS report this information to my current place of employment?(overly paranoid I know).  My employers do not know about my past since it's been expunged and I was not obliged by law to disclose it and I honestly would like to keep it that way.

Thanks for reading/answering!

No they won't report it to anyone.

Make sure you get a few certified copies or your court record you will need them.

thanks for the replies y'all, makes me feel better.  No worries my fiance is fully aware of my record.  Do I really need certified copies of my court record for shopping lift, I know in the application 2a,2b,2c states they need certified copies and shoplifting does not fall under those 3.  this falls under 4a,4b and it does not states that they need certified copies?

thanks again!

Just want to reiterate that the case being expunged does not matter for immigration purposes, the government can always see an expunged case even if private employers can't

Yes get certified copies and always have one on hand when you enter the country (I'm assuming you're the beneficiary, ignore if you're the petitioner)

Sorry, I should have stated in the original post that I'm the petitioner.
