I already mentioned in an earlier post that the credibility of the threat would be the challenge here.

 

That being said, I provided a link mentioned several dozen people who had criminal charges placed due to online threats against President Obama, so there is precedent.

I believe the Secret Service investigates these types of things, not the DOJ (ala Kathy G.) and more than likely except for some uncomfortable questioning, there will most likely be no charges filed.  The thing it does expose though is just how mean-spirited the left can be.  At least Fonda wasn't wearing a mask to hide his identity.

It goes to show how being mean spirited isn't "owned" by any side. It is present among both groups and is likely independent of political affilitation.

I am not sure I said liberals, I believe I said the left.  There is a really big difference.

Trump's less than classy (and sometimes uneducated) tweets don't really compare to a tweet insinuating an autistic child who is NOT the president of the U.S. and has absolutely zero to do with what his dad says or tweets be kidnapped and physically assaulted. Nice try. (No, I'm not a "Trumpster", but I don't see how the two parallel).

I think anyone would agree both "sides" could equate in mean-spiritedness now and again. This thread isn't about that. It's about a disgusting tweet about a child. For...ever? I'm not sure when everyone else knew; I'm not a friend of the family or anything and I've known for a while. It was talked about a lot when Trump first entered office, because so many people were making fun of how stand-offish and solemn-faced he is whenever on TV. He can't help it.

So is it an acknowledged diagnosis from a doctor or his Family, or are people just diagnosing him based on his TV appearances?

Seriously? lol no, I'm not a doctor nor do I have a copy of a clinical diagnosis. But ok. That's totally not even the main point of what I said, I just added it along with other facts I chose to point out. Take the word "autistic" out, and my point really doesn't change.

 

**His TV appearances didn't "give it away". A lot of people already knew. It came up when people reacted rudely to his TV appearances. No, not everyone knew. Some people felt bad. Some people didn't.
