Everything is moving much slower with USCIS and NVC then it was a year or so ago.

There are instructions for emailing NVC also, with that once NVC has the MNL assigned they will reply to the email.

Of course no harm in calling every few days.

Excellent!!

There is NOT a packet 3.     It is ROCK n ROLL time!!

Medical is first come, first served ... there is a page with info for the medical

Follow the website; pay the visa fee, complete the DS-160 ... print out a copy of the confirmation page bring to the interview , schedule your interview .. print out 3 copies of the confirmation page, SLEC will want 2, embassy wants 1.

Nope.   Absolutely NO reason to be waiting.

I know some that are done with their interview in under 4 weeks after getting their MNL#

Hi, we just got our NOA2 June 28. And I'm kinda confused about what to do next.. Do we email the NVC or call first? Also please enlighten me on this, after we get the Manila Case Number, can we book both the medical and interview? Or is it just the medical first? I read on some post that they have to show the guards at SLEC a printed copy of MNL#, where do we get that if we got our case number through call?

In my case we called after 15 working days but they told us they dont have our case yet and that it will take up to 7 weeks for them to process everything. So what i did next is emailed them after 2 days and after two days they responded and gave me the case number.. I tracked our case and after 5 days its in transit to the embassy and after 3 days its forwarded to the embassy...

So did you just print the email and booked your medical and interview? Or did you have to wait for something else?
