Error in my 10 year GC

No idea why the processing took so long...maybe errors in names take longer to process? It's a total mystery.

He still had to do Biometrics? So they used the new taken picture at the Biometrics on the new GC?

Yes, he had to get a new picture done too.

So which picture was used in the new corrected GC? I ask this because I am not happy with initial GC picture so maybe I have the option to use the new one? Do they do retakes?

They used the newer picture that was taken at the USCIS FO, not the one originally submitted at the Embassy abroad. Have you submitted the I-90 yet?

My lawyer’s office got my GC last Tuesday. On Wednesday I noticed the error when I went to his office to pick it up. He will send the I-90 on Monday. I want to know if they do any re takes at the ASC until we are happy with the picture? My initial picture was taken locally here in USA.

 

I am also reading that some people did not have to do Biometrics.

Not totally sure...it seems like some are called for biometrics and others are not. It may just depend on what happens. You can always ask them to retake the picture if you get called in.
