Yes, mistakes happen and we all want that to be minimized. But it’s a very human-oriented process and they take in hundreds of thousands of various applications per month. Some are bound to have a mistake no matter how many co trips you put in place, especially when the service center is already backed up on inputting them.

It happens, they will process it when received, and you will receive the receipt and subsequent biometrics before the lengthy ~ 18 month wait.

 

Not that it is a competition (or one that I would want to win) but I think mine definitely qualifies as an actual ongoing horror story.

Hey! Is it true that even after I 751 denial,  you can keep working & travelling by filing a new I 751? Getting a temporary stamp I-551?

Can you keep working for the time "between I 751 denial and filing new I 751 and getting receipt"? Do you have to tell employer?

How long it takes to get I551 stamp once you have receipt?
