Hi! I called USCIS 2 times about my status update because it hasn't been updated since the beginning of August 2017.It says that we're in process of scheduling your interview and that's it. So I called USCIS and a very kind representative told me that because it has been more than 6 months after that announcement so they're going to send me something in mail in 15 to 30 days and have me a long number with 16 digits that starts with T1B1 and ends with MSC...I didn't receive anything in mail unfortunately. So I called again after 1 month and the lady told that I am in normal processing time which is 13-19 months and I just have to wait and she doesn't know anything about that number and doesn't see any records that I called and the other person promised me to send a letter...Has anyone experienced something similar? Does that number mean anything? It is just weird that they promised to send something and never did...I am ok that I have to wait, but I am curious about that number he gave before. Thank you!

We filed on May 30 and it took around 11 months until the status changed to " Interview was scheduled" then waiting ten days for the letter to arrive to find out the time and date. They will not tell you the time or date over the phone if you call, so don't waste  you time. They will just say wait to receive the letter.

My wife had her interview on June 9th, Saturday morning. BE SURE YOU CHECK IF YOUR MEDICAL EXAM IS STILL VALID AND NOT EXPIRED MORE THAN 12 MONTHS.
