I mailed the original petition approval for K-1 to my fiance however, it was lost in transit. He has his interview next week and he has completed the medical but it will take some time and money to get an original copy of this letter again. Do I go ahead and file for a new one. What do I do?

does it required for your fiancé to have NOA 2 with him ? like me I have to bring original NOA2 with me.

if that is the case then yes should too. also NOA2 is required for AOS.

In the checklist in Ukraine it doesn't mention the letter at all but I worry that they will ask for it.

no not check list, but when he print out his DS 160 confirmation there will be a list what he has to provide for his interview.

at least in my case. not everyone required to show noa2 though. worse case email the embassy.

All I have is a copy of the application with the approved stamp on it. He is taking it to the interview but at the moment it's all we have that states it was approved. There was no check list withe the DS-160 all it says is bring passport and other documents to support case. I think I am just stressed and worried haha!

No point in saying you should just have scanned a copy or made a copy and sent to them. The "original" is just a copy really anyways so. Definately go a head and get a new copy from USCIS.

I can’t even find a copy of this letter. I know I had one but I cannot find it.  I know it will take weeks to get another one. Will that be reason to deny or delay visa?

I remember having given them a copy of it. I was present at the interview also. A deny wouldn't be the case, but maybe a delay. That is one of the documents i presented.

Although the list doesnt list the NOA-2, the best thing is to send an emai lto the embassy and see if that is going to be a problem

Always have copies of all files sent to immigration, period. Online storage, physical copies and probably local hard-drives.

Yeah, I had everything in multiple places and for some reason this is the only thing that is missing and that's why it is driving me crazy! I'm very organized and have everything labelled etc. I hope it will just appear somewhere!
